os8088: Mac-like GUI for IBM XT in real-mode assembly

A hobby project reimagining the early Macintosh desktop for 1980s IBM PC hardware. Written entirely in real-mode 8086 assembly, boots from floppy in 256KB, features overlapping windows, pull-down menus, preemptive multitasking, and can run multiple programs simultaneously. Open source (MIT), runnable in browser via emulator, with excellent documentation and a finished 1.0 release.
